Arrive Kathmandu
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport; our representative meets and transfers you to the hotel. Welcome drink and tour briefing. Evening free to explore Thamel — Kathmandu's lively travellers' quarter, packed with restaurants, handicraft shops and the buzz of a city that has been welcoming pilgrims and adventurers for centuries. Kathmandu Full-Day Sightseeing
After breakfast, full-day sightseeing of Kathmandu's four greatest landmarks — Swayambhunath Stupa (the 5th-century Monkey Temple with its all-seeing Buddha eyes and panoramic valley views), the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa (one of the world's largest, a centre of Tibetan Buddhist culture), Pashupatinath Temple (sacred to all Hindus, where the evening Ganga Aarti on the Bagmati river is deeply moving) and the UNESCO-listed Kathmandu Durbar Square with its ancient palace courtyards and carved temples. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Kathmandu to Pokhara via Manakamana Temple
After breakfast, scenic 200 km drive to Pokhara with a stop at the sacred Manakamana Temple in Gorkha — dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati (wish-fulfilling deity), reached by a cable car over the Trishuli river gorge. Arrive Pokhara and check in to your lakeside hotel. Evening walk along the peaceful Phewa Lake promenade. Overnight in Pokhara.
Pokhara — Sarangkot Sunrise & Sightseeing
Rise at 5:00 AM for the 13-km drive to Sarangkot Hill (approx. 1,600 m) — Pokhara's most iconic viewpoint — for a breathtaking Himalayan sunrise with the full Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges turning pink and gold in the morning light. Return for breakfast; then visit Bindabasini Temple, the mysterious Devi's Falls (where a mountain stream vanishes underground), Gupteshwor Cave adjacent to the falls, and the serene Taal Barahi Temple on a small island in Phewa Lake (reached by rowing boat). Evening at leisure by the lakeside. Overnight in Pokhara.
Pokhara to Kathmandu — Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu (approx. 200 km / 6 hrs) and transfer to Tribhuvan Airport for your onward journey home.
