Arrival Jaipur — City Sightseeing
Arrive at Jaipur airport, meet our representative and transfer to the hotel. After check-in, begin sightseeing — Amber Fort, Jal Mahal (drive-past), Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Birla Temple. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Jaipur.
Jaipur — Bikaner (approx. 330 km)
After breakfast, drive to Bikaner. Before leaving, visit the sprawling Laxmi Niwas Palace. On arrival in Bikaner, tour the formidable Junagarh Fort — a fort that was never conquered — then check in. Overnight in Bikaner.
Bikaner — Jaisalmer (approx. 330 km)
After breakfast, drive to Jaisalmer, the City of Golden Stone. En route from Bikaner, visit the Jain temples, camel breeding farm and local museum. Arrive Jaisalmer in the evening and check in. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Jaisalmer Sightseeing & Sam Sand Dunes
After breakfast, tour Jaisalmer — the living Sonar Qila (Golden Fort, immortalised by Satyajit Ray's Sonar Kella), Patwon ki Haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli, Jaisalmer Lake and Amar Sagar Temple. Late afternoon camel ride to Sam Sand Dunes for a spectacular Indian Desert sunset. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Jaisalmer — Jodhpur (approx. 280 km)
After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur — the Blue City. En route, pass the Pokhran Atomic Research Centre. On arrival, visit Umaid Bhawan Palace (a living royal palace-museum), the massive Mehrangarh Fort and the peaceful Mandore Gardens (ancient cenotaphs of Marwar rulers). Check in and rest. Overnight in Jodhpur.
Jodhpur — Udaipur via Ranakpur (approx. 270 km)
After breakfast, drive to Udaipur with a stop at Ranakpur — the stunning Chaturmukha Jain temple complex, counted among the seven wonders of India, with 1,444 individually carved marble pillars. Arrive Udaipur in the evening and check in. Overnight in Udaipur.
Udaipur Full-Day Sightseeing
Tour Udaipur's finest — the City Palace on Lake Pichola, Jag Mandir island palace, Fateh Sagar Lake, Udai Sagar Lake, Maharana Pratap Museum and the Rajasthan Lok Shilp Kala Kendra (folk arts and crafts museum). Evening at leisure by the lakes. Overnight in Udaipur.
Udaipur — Chittorgarh — Pushkar
After breakfast, drive to Pushkar via Chittorgarh Fort — the 7th-century hilltop citadel of Mewar, where Rana Pratap's palace, Rani Padmini's Palace, the Victory Tower (Vijay Stambha) and Chittorgarh Temple all tell the tale of Rajput honour. Continue to Pushkar, check in and visit the world-famous Brahma Temple and the sacred Pushkar Lake. Overnight in Pushkar.
Pushkar — Ajmer Dargah — Ranthambore
After breakfast, drive to Ranthambore via the Ajmer Sharif Dargah — the revered tomb of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. Arrive at Ranthambore National Park in the evening and check in. Overnight at the park resort.
Ranthambore Safari — Jaipur Departure
Early morning canter or jeep safari inside Ranthambore National Park — home to Bengal tigers, leopards, sloth bears, marsh crocodiles and 272 bird species. After the safari, have breakfast and drive to Jaipur airport for your onward flight, completing a glorious Rajasthan circuit.
