A 2 Nights / 3 Days journey through Srinagar - Sonamarg - Amarnath.
Srinagar to Sonamarg (approx. 3–4 hrs)
On arrival at Srinagar Airport, our representative receives you and drives you to Sonamarg (2,690 m) — meaning 'Meadow of Gold', a stunning alpine valley on the Srinagar-Leh highway rimmed by glaciers and pine forests. Check in to your deluxe hotel on arrival, rest and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay in Sonamarg.
Amarnath Darshan by Helicopter — Return to Srinagar
After an early breakfast, drive to Neelgrath (Baltal) helipad — approximately 20 minutes from Sonamarg by car. Board the helicopter for the Panchtarni helipad (helicopter operates between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM, subject to weather conditions). From Panchtarni, trek, hire a pony or palki for the remaining 6 km to the sacred Amarnath Cave at 3,888 m — home to the naturally formed ice Shivling of Lord Shiva, worshipped by millions of devotees each year during the annual yatra season. After darshan, return to Panchtarni and board the return helicopter to Neelgrath. Drive to Srinagar; check in to your hotel or houseboat. In the evening, enjoy a shikara ride on the serene Dal Lake. Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar.
Srinagar — Departure
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Srinagar Airport or bus station for your onward journey — with the blessings of Baba Amarnath and the memories of the Himalayan yatra.
