Day-by-Day Itinerary
A 3 Nights / 4 Days journey through Srinagar - Sonamarg - Amarnath.
Arrival at Srinagar — Local Sightseeing
Arrive at Srinagar Airport where our representative receives you and transfers you to your hotel. After check-in, spend the afternoon on a half-day Srinagar sightseeing tour — the famous Mughal Gardens (Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh), Dal Lake and, if time permits, a short shikara ride. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Srinagar.
Srinagar to Sonamarg — Neelgrath (Baltal) Trek Start
After breakfast, check out and drive to Sonamarg (2,690 m / approx. 3–4 hrs) — the Meadow of Gold — gateway to the Baltal route of Amarnath Yatra. From Sonamarg, continue to Neelgrath (Baltal) base camp. Obtain your Yatra Permit at the registration counter, collect your RFID tag and complete medical check-in. Register for the onward trek the next morning. Camp overnight at Baltal (camp stay by self — not included in package).
Amarnath Darshan — Return to Srinagar
Begin the trek from Neelgrath (Baltal) to the Amarnath Cave (approx. 14 km one way, 5–6 hrs). The Baltal route is steep but direct, passing through dramatic mountain terrain, glacial streams and snow-covered ridges. Receive darshan of the naturally formed ice Shivling inside the sacred cave at 3,888 m — one of Hinduism's most revered shrines, believed to be the spot where Lord Shiva revealed the secret of immortality to Goddess Parvati. Trek back from Panchtarni to Neelgrath and drive to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay at the Srinagar hotel.
Srinagar — Departure
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey, blessed by the divine darshan of Baba Amarnath.
