Departure from Delhi by Volvo
Arrive at Kashmiri Gate ISBT, Delhi by evening; the AC Volvo departs between 9:00 and 10:00 PM for an overnight journey to Shimla. Sit back and rest as the coach winds its way up into the hills.
Arrival in Shimla & Half-Day City Tour
Reach Shimla in the morning and check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, explore the town's heritage — the grand Indian Institute of Advanced Study (the former Viceregal Lodge with its sprawling lawns), Jakhoo Temple at 2,455 m crowned by a Hanuman shrine and offering the best views in town, plus Sankat Mochan Temple and the Vaishno Devi Gufa. Evening at leisure on The Mall and The Ridge, with the neo-gothic Christ Church and Tudor-style library nearby. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Kufri Excursion & Shimla Heritage Walk
After breakfast, drive to Kufri, famous for the Himalayan Nature Park, pony and yak rides and endless panoramas of the snow ranges. Post lunch, take in Shimla's landmarks — Christ Church (1844), the old mosques (1830), the Gaiety Theatre (1887), the Scandal Point and the bustling shopping stretch of The Mall. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Shimla – Delhi Return by Volvo
Enjoy breakfast, check out and board the Volvo coach back to Delhi, reaching by evening for your onward journey home.
