Arrive Ahmedabad — City Sightseeing
Arrive at Ahmedabad Airport; our representative transfers you to the hotel. Spend the afternoon exploring three of Ahmedabad's iconic landmarks — the Sabarmati Ashram (where Gandhi led the Salt March), the Kankaria Lake waterfront promenade and the magnificent Akshardham Temple complex with its evening Sound and Light show. Overnight in Ahmedabad.
Ahmedabad to Dwarka via Jamnagar (approx. 410 km)
After breakfast, drive to Dwarka with a midway stop at Jamnagar — visit the scenic Lakhota Lake palace, the Lakhota Museum (archaeological finds from the Indus Valley civilisation) and the Bala Hanuman Temple (in the Guinness World Records for continuous chanting of Ram Dhun since 1964). Arrive Dwarka by evening and check in. Overnight in Dwarka.
Dwarka Full-Day Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore the full Dwarka circuit — Dwarkadhish Temple, Bet Dwarka island (boat crossing), Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, Gopi Talav, Rukmani Temple and Gomti Ghat. Evening aarti at the Dwarkadhish Temple. Overnight in Dwarka.
Dwarka to Somnath via Porbandar (approx. 230 km / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Somnath via Porbandar — visit Kirti Mandir (Gandhi's birthplace) and the Sudama Temple. On arrival in Somnath, tour Bhalka Tirth, Triveni Ghat, Geeta Mandir and the first Jyotirlinga — the Somnath Temple itself. Evening aarti followed by the iconic Sound and Light show. Overnight in Somnath.
Somnath to Diu (approx. 90 km / 2 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Diu — the small Union Territory on the southern tip of Saurashtra, once a Portuguese colony with a distinct Indo-Portuguese character. Visit the imposing Diu Fort overlooking the sea, St. Paul's Church (one of the finest examples of Portuguese baroque architecture in India) and the Diu Museum. Evening at leisure on the beach. Overnight in Diu.
Diu to Sasan Gir (approx. 100 km / 2.5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Sasan Gir — the only habitat of the Asiatic Lion outside Africa. Visit the Gir Interpretation Zone at Devaliya (closed Wednesdays) for a close-look safari in an enclosed forest. Afternoon open jeep safari inside Gir National Park (direct payment) for a chance to spot the Asiatic Lion, leopards, deer and over 300 bird species in the wild. Overnight in Sasan Gir / Junagadh.
Sasan Gir to Ahmedabad (approx. 380 km / 8 hrs)
After breakfast, drive back to Ahmedabad — a long but comfortable drive across the Saurashtra plains. Check in on arrival; evening free to explore the old city bazaars or rest. Overnight in Ahmedabad.
Ahmedabad — Adalaj Stepwell & Departure
After breakfast, visit the stunning 5-storey Adalaj Stepwell — a masterpiece of 15th-century Gujarati craftsmanship. Transfer to Ahmedabad airport or railway station for your onward journey.
