Ultimate Haridwar & Rishikesh Tour Package
Day-by-Day Itinerary
A 3 Nights / 4 Days journey through Delhi - Haridwar - Rishikesh.
Delhi to Haridwar (approx. 220 km / 4–5 hrs)
Transfer from Delhi airport or railway station to Haridwar — the Gateway to God, where the Ganga descends from the Himalayas to the plains. Check in to the hotel and freshen up. In the evening, make your way to Har Ki Pauri ghat for the breathtaking Ganga Aarti — an ancient ritual of fire, bells and devotion performed at dusk on the holy river. Overnight in Haridwar.
Haridwar Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit the two most revered hilltop temples of Haridwar: Mansa Devi Temple (accessible by ropeway or a 30-minute climb, dedicated to the wish-fulfilling goddess) and Chandi Devi Temple (across the river on Neel Parvat, also reachable by ropeway). Later, seek blessings at the Daksheswara Mahadev Temple — dedicated to Lord Shiva and linked to the mythological tale of King Daksha. Evening back at the hotel. Overnight in Haridwar.
Haridwar to Rishikesh — Neelkanth Mahadev & Lakshman Jhula
After an early breakfast, drive to Rishikesh and head directly to the ancient Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, set in the forest at 1,675 m above the town. This Shiva shrine marks the mythological spot where Lord Shiva consumed the deadly poison (Halahal) that emerged from the ocean during Samudra Manthan, turning his throat blue — hence the name Neelkanth (Blue-Throat). After darshan, visit the iconic Lakshman Jhula suspension bridge over the Ganga and explore the ashrams and yoga centres lining the riverbanks. Evening back at the hotel. Overnight in Rishikesh.
Rishikesh to Delhi — Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Delhi airport or railway station for your onward journey, carrying the peace of the Himalayan Ganga back with you.
