Day-by-Day Itinerary
A 7 Nights / 8 Days journey through Cochin - Munnar - Thekkady - Alleppey - Kovalam - Kanyakumari.
Cochin to Munnar (approx. 4 hrs)
Arrive at Cochin airport or Ernakulam railway station, where our representative assists you for the scenic drive to Munnar — pineapple gardens, rubber and spice plantations, and the Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls en route. Check in; rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Munnar.
Munnar Full-Day Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore Munnar in full — Mattupetty Dam and Lake, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Photo Point, Eravikulam National Park with the rare Nilgiri Tahr, views of Anaimudi, the Tata Tea Museum, Blossom Hydel Park and sunset at Pothamedu, rounded off with an evening spice and tea trail. Overnight in Munnar.
Munnar to Thekkady — Periyar Wildlife
Post breakfast, drive through the Cardamom Hills to Thekkady. After check-in, enjoy the Periyar Lake boat safari through the tiger reserve, a spice plantation visit and an evening amble through the Kumily spice market. Overnight in Thekkady.
Thekkady to Alleppey — Houseboat Stay (approx. 4 hrs)
After breakfast, head down to Alleppey and board your Kettuvallam houseboat on Vembanad Lake. Lunch on board while cruising past snake boats, a historic church, paddy fields and the below-sea-level Kuttanad region, ending with a glorious sunset. Overnight on board, anchored mid-lake.
Alleppey to Kovalam
Morning disembark at the jetty, stop at Alleppey Beach and drive south to Kovalam, the famed beach paradise on a sheltered Arabian Sea bay, beloved since the 1930s. Check in; day free for leisure. Overnight in Kovalam.
Kovalam & Trivandrum Sightseeing
After breakfast, take a half-day Trivandrum city tour covering the Palace Museum and Zoo and the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, then spend the evening at the spectacular Kovalam and Shangumugham beaches. Overnight in Kovalam.
Kovalam to Kanyakumari
Post breakfast, check out and drive to Kanyakumari — the meeting point of the Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal — visiting Padmanabhapuram Palace and Suchindram Temple en route. On arrival, tour the Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Triveni Sangamam and the Thiruvalluvar Statue, and stay for the unforgettable sunset over three seas. Overnight in Kanyakumari.
Kanyakumari to Trivandrum — Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Trivandrum for your drop at the airport or railway station, completing the full sweep of God's Own Country.
