A 3 Nights / 4 Days journey through Cochin - Munnar - Alleppey.
Cochin to Munnar (approx. 4 hrs)
On arrival at Cochin airport or Ernakulam railway station, our representative assists you and drives you up to Munnar — a beautiful 4-hour hill journey past pineapple gardens, rubber and spice plantations, and the gorgeous Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls. Check in at your Munnar hotel; the rest of the day is at leisure in this nature lovers' paradise. Overnight in Munnar.
Munnar Full-Day Sightseeing
After breakfast, set out on a full-day tour of Munnar — Mattupetty Dam and Lake, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Photo Point, Eravikulam (Rajamala) National Park famed for the Nilgiri Tahr, views of Anaimudi (South India's highest peak), the Tata Tea Museum, Blossom Hydel Park and the Pothamedu sunset viewpoint. Evening spice and tea trail walk. Overnight in Munnar.
Munnar to Alleppey — Houseboat Stay (approx. 5 hrs)
Post breakfast, descend through quintessential Kerala villages and paddy fields to Alleppey on Vembanad Lake. Board your Kettuvallam — the iconic Kerala houseboat — for lunch on board and a slow cruise through a web of lakes, lagoons and canals, passing snake boats, a historic church and the Kuttanad region, the only place in India where rice grows below sea level. Watch the sunset over the water and spend the night anchored mid-lake.
Alleppey to Cochin — Departure
After breakfast, disembark at the boat jetty and visit Alleppey Beach before driving to Cochin. Transfer to Cochin airport or Ernakulam railway station for your onward journey home.
