Day-by-Day Itinerary
A 5 Nights / 6 Days journey through Cochin - Munnar - Thekkady - Kumarakom - Alleppey.
Cochin to Munnar (approx. 4 hrs)
Arrive at Cochin airport or Ernakulam railway station, meet our representative and set off on the scenic 4-hour drive to Munnar — past pineapple gardens, rubber and spice plantations, and the Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls. Check in and relax; the day is yours. Overnight in Munnar.
Munnar Full-Day Sightseeing
After breakfast, a full family day in Munnar — Mattupetty Dam and Lake, Echo Point (the kids will love it), Kundala Lake, Photo Point, Eravikulam National Park with its Nilgiri Tahr, Anaimudi peak views, the Tata Tea Museum, Blossom Hydel Park and sunset at Pothamedu, ending with an evening spice and tea trail. Overnight in Munnar.
Munnar to Thekkady — Periyar Wildlife
Post breakfast, drive through the Cardamom Hills to Thekkady. After check-in, enjoy a boat safari on Periyar Lake through the Periyar Tiger Reserve — elephants and exotic birds in their natural habitat — followed by a spice plantation visit and a stroll through the Kumily spice market. Overnight in Thekkady.
Thekkady to Kumarakom
After breakfast, check out and drive to Kumarakom, a tiny backwater hamlet on the western banks of Vembanad Lake, whose backwater stretch spreads across some 900 sq km. Spend the afternoon on local sightseeing in and around this bird-lover's paradise. Overnight in Kumarakom.
Kumarakom to Alleppey — Houseboat Stay
Morning drive to Alleppey and board your Kettuvallam houseboat. Lunch on board while cruising the lakes, lagoons and canals — snake boats, a historic church, paddy fields and the below-sea-level Kuttanad region — followed by a spectacular sunset. Overnight on board, anchored mid-lake.
Alleppey to Cochin — Departure
Post breakfast, disembark at the jetty, visit Alleppey Beach and drive to Cochin for your drop at the airport or Ernakulam railway station.
