Day-by-Day Itinerary
A 6 Nights / 7 Days journey through Cochin - Munnar - Thekkady - Alleppey - Kovalam - Trivandrum.
Cochin to Munnar (approx. 4 hrs)
On arrival at Cochin airport or Ernakulam railway station, drive up to Munnar past pineapple gardens, rubber and spice plantations and the Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls. Check in at your hotel; rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Munnar.
Munnar Full-Day Sightseeing
After breakfast, tour Munnar's best — Mattupetty Dam and Lake, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Photo Point, Eravikulam National Park (Nilgiri Tahr), Anaimudi peak views, Tata Tea Museum, Blossom Hydel Park and the Pothamedu sunset viewpoint, with an evening tea and spice trail. Overnight in Munnar.
Munnar to Thekkady — Periyar Wildlife
Post breakfast, drive into the Cardamom Hills to Thekkady. After check-in, take the Periyar Lake boat safari through the tiger reserve, visit a spice plantation and end with an evening walk through Kumily's spice market. Overnight in Thekkady.
Thekkady to Alleppey — Houseboat Stay (approx. 4 hrs)
After breakfast, descend to Alleppey on Vembanad Lake and board your Kettuvallam houseboat. Lunch on board, then cruise through lagoons, canals and the below-sea-level paddy lands of Kuttanad, with a stunning sunset to close the day. Overnight on board, mid-lake.
Alleppey to Kovalam
Morning disembark at the jetty, visit Alleppey Beach and drive south to Kovalam — the internationally famous beach paradise on a sheltered natural bay of the Arabian Sea, a favourite of travellers since the 1930s. Check in; day free for sun, sand and sea. Overnight in Kovalam.
Kovalam & Trivandrum Sightseeing
After breakfast, take a half-day city tour of Trivandrum — the Palace Museum and Zoo and the iconic Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple — and in the evening soak in the beauty of Kovalam and Shangumugham beaches with their coconut-palm backdrops. Overnight in Kovalam.
Kovalam to Trivandrum — Departure
Post breakfast, drive to Trivandrum and bid farewell to God's Own Country with your drop at Trivandrum airport or railway station.
